Pure Hearts formed “Hamara Gurukul” to enhance education in Gurugram’s Bastis. Pure Hearts Hamara Gurukuls-4 learning centres in Bastis is an integrated project for education enhancement in Sector 62, Sector 51 and Sector 50 (4 centers) in Gurugram. Every year, team mission is to nurture 250 basti kids with continuous emphasis on education, joyous learning space and integration into mainstream educational institutions.
Launched in July 2020, 'Meri Pehchan' is a campaign that educates women living in Bastis about menstrual health, and women's hygiene, with the medical support of Gynaecology and Obstetrics doctors and Asha Didis. 9000+ women have been helped them to switch from sanitary/cloth napkins to menstrual cups which is - eco-friendly, reusable, money-saving, comfortable, leak-free, lasts 6-8 years , bringing down substantial non-biodegradable sanitary napkins waste from the landfills, which take 500-600 years to degrade. The mission is to make NCR Gurugram Pad Free.
The campaigns address environmental issues and support greenery-cleanliness-health. These include awareness drives on waste management, go-green, pollution, plastic, sustainability, saving rivers, water conservation-rainwater harvesting, farmers workshops, land restoration initiatives
Collaborative efforts with Medical Departments, hospitals, Pure Hearts sets up Free Medical Check ups, Eye/Dental Check Ups Camps, emergency surgeries, children with critical illnesses- medical support to the underprivileged in bastis/ villages/ helper staff in societies.. During Covid, provided doorstep RTPCR tests.doctors FREE online consultations, ration kits, and medicines to bastis people in distress.
Special movie screening for children and adults with visual and hearing impairments, being family to the children in orphanages / shelters, raising funds to empower and employ persons with disabilities
Collection Drives to provide warm blankets/ woollen clothes for impoverished households during winters .During the COVID-19 pandemic,Pure Hearts actively helped migrant workers by distributing ration kits and over 1.5 lac snacks/ masks to support the District Administration endeavours during trying times and many more eg Nepal Earthquake Fundraiser, Indian Flag Day Fund for disabled armed staff and Martyrs widows.
